Volunteers

Volunteers add so many “extras” that create special moments in the daily lives of our residents. Helping with events and games, performing music, baking, gardening, Courtyard Companion, playing cards, escorting residents to and from areas within the building, or simply holding a hand to listen or reminisce are just a few of the volunteer opportunities. If you have a special talent, please let us know. We rely on the willing hands and generous hearts of our volunteers to help make Redeemer a warm-hearted community!

An Intergenerational Community

Located within Redeemer Health Care Center is Grandma’s House Children’s Center, a Christian child care and early learning center for children six weeks to ten years old. The children have the opportunity to benefit from the intergenerational setting by spending time with the “grandmas and grandpas,” the residents of Redeemer. Activities are regularly scheduled and interactions between the skilled nursing residents and the children is uniquely priceless and valued by both generations.
